Dr. Dorothy Muthoka - Kagwaini is an Asst. Director for the Centre of Quality Assurance and an Accounting lecturer at the School of Business and Economics. She has a wealth of experience in accounting having worked in the Finance department for ten years as well as having nine years of teaching experience. Dorothy had an opportunity of teaching for one year at Hannam University in the College of Business and Economics based at South Korea. She was the first African to be recruited in that university. Dorothy also started an International English Fellowship at Suwon Yuljeon Church where she led for four years. She always shares her life’s journey as a way of building lasting relationships with her students.

Additional Information

  • 2016 – Dorothy received a ‘Certificate of Missionary’ from Yuljeon Presbyterian Church in South Korea to be their lay missionary in Kenya.
  • 2013 – to Date: Dorothy is involved in community work at Kee African Inland Church where she was involved in helping to construct their sanctuary with the help of Suwon Yuljeon Church. She is currently helping with the Church Sunday school teachings.
  • 2001 – 2012: Dorothy was involved with the youth at Bahati Presbyterian Church where she mentored the youth academically and spiritually.
