Admission on Transfer from other Institutions
Daystar University accepts Grade C or better for relevant
courses from recognized or accredited universities which offer courses of the level of bachelor's degree.
Students who transfer to Daystar University from other
accredited institutions must each take a minimum of 33 credit hours at
Daystar University. They must also each take a minimum of 17 credit hours in the major area of study, and additionally, 50% of all third- and fourth-year level major courses must be taken at Daystar University.
Daystar University will consider transfering credits which come from
non-degree granting institutions but whose academic programmes
are approved by the university's Senate. This is only if the courses are equivalent to Daystar University?s first-year level courses.
Each request will be considered on an individual course basis. A comprehensive final examination may be given to the student before credit is granted. No grade will be assigned to these credits. The student will be charged a fee for sitting for the examination equivalent to the cost of one credit hour in case of challenging a course. |
