Why should I join Daystar?

As a Christian University , Daystar takes the distinctive approach of integrating faith with learning. Our training facilitates the mental, spiritual, social, psychological and physical growth that distinguishes Daystar students even after they graduate.

The University combines modern facilities with a dynamic approach to teaching and research. Highly qualified faculty offer rigorous and personalized teaching.

The Communication Department operates a radio station (Shine FM 103.1), and its students run video and television studios as well as a newspaper.

The university?s two libraries have a rich collection of books, local and international journals and magazines. The multi-media collection includes CD databases, videos, DVDs and a host of electronic resources and online databases.

Students have the opportunity to engage in numerous extra-curricular activities such as outreach evangelical teams, choirs, drama, dance and singing groups. Various students associations and clubs also frequently organize fun activities such as dinners, culture week, trips and retreats.

Daystar coordinates sports and games throughout the academic year. Existing sports and recreation activities include team sports, individual sports and board games.
