Daystar University Actuarial students shine in inter-varsity competition

On Friday 10th March 2023, three members of Daystar University Actuarial Students Association (DUASA) participated in the Nairobi Region 2023 Product Design Competition (PDC) held at Mt. Kenya University (MKU).

Daystar moves to possess donated land

Daystar University is set to establish an Agriculture Program on donated land located behind the Main Campus Athi River.   

This was revealed by the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban Peter Ayiro on 8th March when he led members of Management to meet the family of the late Mzee David Musau Mumama at his Mua Hills home in Machakos County.

On 10th - 11th March, 2023, the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban Peter Ayiro spent two days at St. Michael’s Kabaa High School in Yatta, Machakos County, coaching teachers and students on how to improve academic performance.

Corporate Affairs Department sustains student recruitment drive

The last three weeks have been packed as the Corporate Affairs Department intensified future student recruitment.  On Friday 10th March 2023, Sosnes Olindo and a team of marketers hosted students from Hospital Hill High School at the Main Campus Athi River.  Sosnes gave a career talk, presentation on Daystar programmes, and a Campus tour.

Celebrating Daystar Faces

Ms. Bridget Amesa Mweseli, an International Relations and Security major student is putting her servant-leadership skills to work.  While working as a volunteer teacher at Doonholm Primary School in Nairobi, she spotted the need for textbooks and wrote a proposal to Safaricom Foundation, who responded with a book donation worth Ksh 100,000.  Bridget is transforming her community through servant-leadership
