Sr. Prof. A. L. Lando was on 29th May 2022 awarded during the Presidential address of the International Communication Associations (ICA) 72nd Annual Conference. The ceremony was held at Palais des Congres in Paris, France. Sr. Prof. Lando was recognized for her immense service to the development of ICA on Africa and service to the field of communication as mentor and evangelist for cross-cultural dialogue.

Sr. Prof. A. L. Lando was on 29th May 2022 awarded during the Presidential address of the International Communication Association's (ICA) 72nd Annual Conference. The ceremony was held at Palais des Congres in Paris, France.
Sr. Prof. Lando was recognized for her immense service to the development of ICA on Africa and service to the field of communication as mentor and evangelist for cross-cultural dialogue.
The conference (26-30 May 2022) has attracted more than 3, 500 in physical attendance and over 1, 000 online attendees. Sr. Prof. Lando has termed the fete " a big win for Daystar University and Africa. I thank you God for uplifting us", she said.
The first person to congratulate Sr. Prof. Lando was Daystar University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro.
