Rationale

Music is a key form of communication which can profitably be used to promote Christian faith and conduct. On the other hand, traditionally, music is studied in terms of its aesthetic and artistic forms, not from the perspective of its being a vehicle of communication. There is, therefore, the need for specialized training in the areas of musical skills as applied to a broadened understanding of Christian communication for ministry. Thus, the diploma in Christian Music Communication focuses on equipping Christian workers for evangelism, spiritual formation and worship- church ministry that is relevant to the needs of contemporary Africa
