The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro has called on all new students to consistently give their best in everything they do and endeavor to remain real. The Vice chancellor made the call while giving his matriculation address to freshmen at the Athi River Campus on 12 January 2022. “The success you desire in life does not depend on the image you are able to project but from being real,†he said.
Vice Chancellor welcomes new students and parents
On Monday 10th January, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro addressed new students and their parents as the January semester orientation week kicked off. The essence of the address was to welcome them to the Daystar fraternity and acquaint them with the University leadership, academic programs and environment.
Vice Chancellor Addresses Staff and Faculty in the new Year
On Friday 7th January 2022, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro convened a meeting with staff and faculty for his new year address before the new semester can begin. Prof. Ayiro anchored his new year message on Genesis 45:15-28 in a sermon he titled “The Tears of Joseph.â€
GIZ donates studio equipment to Daystar University
Deutsche Gesellschaft Fá¹»r International Zusammenarbeit, popularly known as GIZ (German Development Agency), has donated studio equipment worth Kshs 1.3 million (Euros 10,000) to the Daystar University School of Communication. GIZ is the arm of the German government that promotes international development cooperation.
Memorandum of Understanding Between Daystar University, School of Nursing and Machakos County Government
On Wednesday 12th January 2022, Daystar University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Machakos County Government, enabling Daystar School of Nursing students to do their clinical attachments in over 100 health facilities spread across Machakos County.
