On Tuesday 21st January 2020, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban Ayiro led the University community to commission a new borehole at Athi River Campus. In his remarks, the Vice- Chancellor thanked God for all the work that has been completed so far, saying that the completion of the borehole was one of God’s many miracles to Daystar. He revealed that he only trusted God and it all worked out by His grace and encouraged those present to approach their daily activities as if they were working for the Lord, so that servant-hood becomes a way of life.......

Daystar Signs MOU with Evaluation Society of Kenya

On 16th January 2020, Daystar University signed an MOU with Evaluation Society of Kenya (ESK) seeking to create partnership and mutual collaboration for capacity development, research and fundraising. New Students warmly welcomed

New students are received to begin their orientation programme

On Monday, January 13th 2020, new students admitted for January 2020 semester reported to a warm reception by the Doulos service team for a full orientation week at the Main Athi River campus. The freshmen consisted of Undergraduate and Diploma students for both Athi and Nairobi campus.

The week-long orientation program was filled with different sessions, games and team-bonding activities which, according to the freshmen, were very useful. The students were divided into “family” groups each with a parent to guide the orientation and facilitate their transition to Campus life.

Library Updates

The Library is now running on a new system called Koha Library Management Information System.

What's new?

    a) You can now RENEW your books online. You no longer need to do this physically at the library or within Daystar University.

    b) You can now login, access your personal account and view your borrowing history, fines and due dates for return of items.

    c) You will now receive notices via email on overdue items, fines, items checked out and checked in with your account.

    d) Is a book you need not available at the library? You can now make purchase suggestions online for those books.

Username: your student number (e.g. 21-0001) or your 4 digit staff number (e.g. 0808)
