Library Updates

The Library is now running on a new system called Koha Library Management Information System.

What's new?

    a) You can now RENEW your books online. You no longer need to do this physically at the library or within Daystar University.

    b) You can now login, access your personal account and view your borrowing history, fines and due dates for return of items.

    c) You will now receive notices via email on overdue items, fines, items checked out and checked in with your account.

    d) Is a book you need not available at the library? You can now make purchase suggestions online for those books.

How will you access the new library system? Go to

Username: your student number (e.g. 21-0001) or your 4 digit staff number (e.g. 0808)
Password: koha2017

Kindly change your password immediately after login.



Due to some renovation taking place at the basement section of the Nairobi Campus Library, all books covering A-K (books on General works, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion, History, Geography, Social Sciences, Political Science and Law) are now located at LR26 (Mwangaza Wing). There is now a staff available at LR26, hence, to access the books from this area, you do not need to first visit the main library for assistance.

Additionally, we have provided a library study area in LR19.

Should you have any inquiry or in need of further assistance, kindly feel free to contact the librarians either through or by visiting the library.
