Graduands of 2020 Collect Certificates

Effective Tuesday, 12th January 2021, graduands of 13th November 2020 began to collect their certificates and transcripts following the graduation ceremony. This followed a prompt by the University Registrar Dr. Paul Mbutu that the awaited Certificates and transcripts were ready for collection. All graduation materials are being issued from the Nairobi Campus Office of Deputy University Registrar, Dr. Dinah Keino....

 Graduates are required to bring with them clearance form duly filled in and signed by the respective departments. Postgraduates should submit the official thesis/dissertation clearance form.

Issuance of Student IDs

The Department of Admissions and Records announces issuance of IDs to students admitted online in May and August 2020. Mr. Maurice Kioko will be at the Nairobi Campus every Monday to offer the service. Students responding to this call will be guided from the Customer Care Desk (Reception).

At Athi River Campus, ID processing will take place on Thursdays in Admissions and Records Office, at PAC Building.

Library Updates

The Library is now running on a new system called Koha Library Management Information System.

What's new?

    a) You can now RENEW your books online. You no longer need to do this physically at the library or within Daystar University.

    b) You can now login, access your personal account and view your borrowing history, fines and due dates for return of items.

    c) You will now receive notices via email on overdue items, fines, items checked out and checked in with your account.

    d) Is a book you need not available at the library? You can now make purchase suggestions online for those books.

How will you access the new library system? Go to

NB: Your login credentials are:

Username: your student number (e.g. 21-0001) or your 4 digit staff number (e.g. 0808)
Password: koha2017

Kindly change your password immediately after login.
