[Friday, 14th November 2025] On Friday, 14th November, Daystar University conferred degrees and awarded diplomas to 2,248 graduands during the University’s 48th graduation ceremony that was held at its Main Campus Athi River. 

[Athi River Campus: Tuesday, November 11, 2025] The School of Nursing held the candle lighting and pinning ceremony for 231 students who were scheduled to graduate on 14th November. The ceremony, which took place at the Main Athi River Chapel service, was attended by members of management, faculty, staff, and students.

[Athi River, Kenya - November 11, 2025]  On 11th November, the Global Peace Foundation announced the 5th Cohort of the President’s Fellowship Awards, to be held at Daystar University Main Campus Athi River, on 28th November 2025.

[Nairobi: November 8, 2025]  The graduating Class of 2025 held an exquisite dinner at the Argyle Grand Hotel, marked with pomp and glamour as they entered the final week to graduation.

[Athi River, Kenya – November 7, 2025]  On 7th November 2025, Daystar University received a special tree donation of 78 assorted tree seedlings in support of Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.  The initial donation was part of 500 tree seedlings.

Daystar University School of Law participated in the just ended Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot Court Competition held in Boston, USA.

[Nairobi Campus: Thur, October 30, 2025] The Daystar University united in grief to pay their last respects to a long-serving staff and faculty member, the late Mr. David Kariuki Thuku, who passed on Friday October 24, 2025.

[Athi River Campus, October 30, 2025] The Israeli Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Gideon Behar paid a courtesy visit to Daystar University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro, at the University’s Main Campus Athi River.

[October 27, 2025] The School of Science, Engineering and Health in partnership with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA), the Daystar University Student Actuarial Association (DUASA), the Actuarial Society of Kenya (TASK), and Actuarial Students Society of Kenya (ASSK) to host a forum for Actuarial students.

[Nairobi: Wednesday, October 22, 2025] The School of Arts and Social Sciences, in partnership with the Daystar University Peace and International Students Association (DUPISSA) hosted the Women in Diplomacy Forum under the theme “Shaping Global Policies for a Better Future.”

[Makueni: October 8, 2025] From 3rd - 7th November 2025, project managers affiliated to the Anglican church from across Africa gathered at Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Resort in Salama, Makueni County, for the transformative Project Management Training for Church Leaders.

[Nairobi Campus: 18th September 2025] The School of Business and Economics (SBE) Graduate Students’ Mentorship Group, comprising MBA Alumni and on-going MBA and PhD students, along with their patron and mentor Dr. Joanes Kyongo, presented a cheque of Ksh 606, 000 in support of the ongoing Chapel construction project.  Dr. Kyongo is the Associate Dean, School of Business and Economics.
