Special Instructions on Course selection and pre-requisites

  • Bachelor of Arts Students:
    • Students from non-English speaking countries are required to take Basic English (ENG 098) in their first semester.
    • Courses are coded according to year of study therefore, students should select courses progressively from 100 level upwards.
    • In order to progress to courses in your Major, you are also required to select General Education courses such as INS 111 and ENG 111 in your first semester.
    • Students who scored a B-in English are required to take English Structure and Usage (ENG 214) during their second year of study.
