Course offering and selection and pre-requisites

The SSEH uses the Cohort system; the student who report together start their studies together until graduation— ensure you keep to your Cohort. You will be given a 2 year/4-year schedule of your course offering – a table that shows the course that you will take for 4 or 8 semesters that you be in Daystar including the point at which you take your projects or go for attachments/ practicums Courses are coded according to the year of study, 1st year – 100 level, 2nd year – 200, 3rd year- 300 level and 4th year –400 level, respectively. Therefore, students are advised to select courses progressively from 100 level upwards.

Check for courses with pre-requisites; course that precede or must be taken before, e.g. Medical Physiology I is a prerequisite for Medical Physiology II

The Diploma in ICT are offered on both the Nairobi and the Main campus in Athi River. The student taking their Diploma program from the Nairobi campus will be assisted by our staff in DAC first floor where the Dean, the HODs and the Coordinator for the diploma program are housed.
