Hey, fellow Daystarians! You’ve probably heard of Residents Week circulating on campus, right? But possibly you're still scratching your head or wondering, "What on earth is it all about?" Don't worry; you're not alone. It turns out that there's a lot more to this event than what meets the eye, and it is time to highlight it.

Picture this: a week jam-packed with fun activities, comradeship, and a dash of healthy competition. That's Residents Week for you. But let's dive deeper into the nitty-gritty.

Hosted under the watchful eye of the school governor's office, Laban Choti, this event isn't just any run-of-the-mill gathering, it's a chance for us to turn the spotlight on the hostels, both on and off-campus.

You may be wondering, "What's the big deal about our hostels?" So buckle up, because Residents Week is all about solving the mysteries of where we rest at night. It's an opportunity to bring attention to what each hostel brings to the table, from top-notch quality to rock-solid security, and everything in between.

But wait, there's more! Ever heard of our unsung heroes, the hostel representatives? These individuals are the cornerstone of Residents Week, ensuring that our voices are heard loud and clear. We have resident tutors, who are lecturers who provide guidance and support, and let's not neglect the resident assistants, friendly faces who are always willing to lend a helping hand when we need it.

Residents week is not just about those of us nestled within the confines of campus walls. Off-campus students, are also greatly thought off, too! With dedicated representatives placed in different parts look out for the well-being of off-campus comrades so no one is left behind.

Residents Week isn't just about serious business – it's also a time to let loose and enjoy some epic activities. Think thrilling football matches, glamorous gala nights, and even a fierce competition for the coveted titles of Mr. and Miss Residents Week. Trust me; you won't want to miss out on the action!

Our very own school governor, Laban Choti, has some big plans up his sleeve. Get ready for a Baraza like no other, where off-campus concerns take center stage. It's all part of our ongoing mission to ensure that every Daystarian feels heard and supported, no matter where they call home.

So, there you have it, folks – Residents Week in a nutshell. It's a celebration of community, a showcase of our incredible hostels, and a testament to the spirit of Daystar University.
