Universities challenged to make use of UNESCO research Instruments
Funding allocation for research remains a major challenge in the Global South, with a majority of countries spending less than 1 percent of their Gross Domestic Product on research against the recommended 3 percent. Daystar University wins Ksh 59 million grant for Environmental Education research among Kenyan schools
Daystar University has won a Ksh 59 million grant (US$ 0.5 million) from the United Nations Peace and Development Trust Fund (UN-PDTF). The grant, titled: Assessment of the Effectiveness of Environmental Education in Kenyan Schools, will see Daystar University, through its Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies (DRGS), conduct a study over the next 24 months.
Daystar University Hosts 12th Diplomatic Dinner
The annual event brings together diplomats from the countries represented in the University’s student body for an evening of interaction with international students from their respective countries, and the University leadership.
