DLPDI Destiny Class set for Excursion.
Ex-candidates scaling the wall in a past excursion at the Freedom base
The Daystar Leadership and Professional Development Institute (DLPDI) is planning a full-day excursion event for the current Destiny Ex-candidate’s class.
The excursion will take place at Main Campus Athi River Freedom Base on Friday, March 3, 2023. They will also have a tour of the Main campus.
This year’s Destiny program began on January 23, 2023, with more than 60 participants from different parts of the country enrolled.
The six-week program prepares participants for life after high school before they transition to institutions of higher learning.
The program sharpens participants' edge in leadership, communication, personality, career, entrepreneurship, sign language, spiritual development, ICT and at least one foreign language. This year, Mandarin (Chinese) is on offer.
“We impart them with the necessary life skills so they can make the right career choices and be impactful in life,” says Program Coordinator Mrs. Jane Irungu.
