Rationale

This is a music certificate course which ushers the students who wish to acquire skills in Music especially performance into the world of music

The course will equip the student with the essential skills to appreciate and make music learn how to present and perform for audiences The course is pegged at the novice level and hence puts emphasis on acquisition entry level skills in the area of Music.

Admission Requirements

In addition to the University requirements for admission, the applicant must fulfil the minimum entry requirement for this program which is a D+ (Plus) in KCSE or its equivalent.

1. Skill-based courses will require a demonstration of progressive mastery of the skills with 75% of the marks awarded for practical work and 25% on the theoretical assignments.
