Dean's Welcome Message

Greetings and welcome to Daystar University.

The Student Affairs Department is responsible for student life on Campus outside the lecture room while at the same time working closely with academic staff.

The Student Affairs Department falls under the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic, Research and Student Affairs.

We take care of student welfare on both Campuses in Nairobi and at the Athi River Main Campus.

Each of our two campuses is headed by an Associate Dean of Students.

The Student Affairs Department is home for several services that aim to give our students quality University experience. The services we offer include the following:

  • Student Placement and International Relations Office:

    The SPIRO office helps International students to familiarise and settle you down in Kenya as a foreign student. We give international students a tour of the City of Nairobi and other places. SPIRO also helps students to find internship opportunities and job placement upon completing their studies.

    Upon arrival, we shall help you to meet the Kenya Immigration Office to familiarise you with government regulations on acquisition of Student Visa and other information needed for a comfortable stay in Kenya.
