University bids farewell to Prof. Leann And Dale Johnson
On Friday 9th December 2022, the Vice-chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro hosted Prof. Dale Johnson and Prof. LeAnn Johnson to a farewell luncheon at Daystar University Nairobi Campus.
The Johnsons joined Daystar on 4th August 2022 and have served as visiting faculty during the September/December 2022 Semester.
Prof. Dale Johnson from the University of Maryland taught entrepreneurship in the School of Business and Economics, while Prof. LeAnn from Shepherd University taught in the Department of Education, the School of Arts and Social Sciences.
In attendance also was the Ag. DVC Academic, Research and Student Affairs Prof. Martha Kiarie, the Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences Dr. Patrick Musembi, the HOD, department of Education, Mr. Joab Namai, the School Administrator Ms. Lydia Ndubai, the Dean, School of Business and Economics Dr. Evans Amata, the HOD, Commerce department Mr. Joseph Munyao, the School Administrator Mrs. Regina Kemboi, Chief Manager Human Resource Mr. Pius Muia, the Director of Academic Programmes Prof. Samuel Muriithi, Deputy Director, Research and Graduate Studies Dr. Dinah Keino, the University Chaplain Rev. John Miano Weche, the Corporate Affairs Manager Mrs. Damaris Kimilu, and Research & Protocol Officer in Office of the Vice-chancellor Mrs. Grace Mbogo-Liyai.
The Johnsons presented a report of their undertakings and interactions in and outside Daystar University during their semester stay.
