Biography
I have been working in language education since 1986. I have taught English language and literature in different secondary schools, colleges and universities in Kenya and in Britain.
I moved to Daystar University in 2011 where I have continued to teach Linguistic courses. Since 2014, I have been the examination officer in the department. I am also a resident tutor in charge of Grace Hostel.
I have excellent skills in communication, teaching and learning, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, research, counselling and planning skills. I have strong work ethics- I am dependable, honest, confident, team worker and I have a positive attitude.
I am a member of Christian and Scientific Association of Kenya

Research Interests
My main research interests are language learning motivation, developing reading and writing skills, feedback and assessment.
I am also interested in research in the acquisition of soft skills by students in higher education as well as student governance
