Biography
I am a medical doctor and a lawyer specializing in public health. I have had a long-standing professional career with the Ministry of Health, Kenya. My designation was Senior Deputy Director and I held that position for 12 years. I was also the deputy chairman of the Medical Partitioners and Dentist board for six years. I have also held the position of Head of Station Consultant UN (WHO) in Pakistan (2005). I am the founder of the Medical Legal department at Daystar School of Law and currently teach law at Daystar University.

Research Interests
My research interests lie in the area of medical law, focused on convergence of public health and law matters. In relation to this, I have worked in conjunction with the UN, I have served as a public health officer and I have participated in drafting of medical related bills.
