Biography

Dr. Ayuya Muaka is highly motivated and responsible Clinical Psychologist offering outstanding achievements: in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders; in administration, supervision, management, decision-making, teaching and public relations. She is driven by a conviction of divine calling, good judgment and facing challenges in the facilitation of basic human rights. Has good command of both English and Kiswahili with little knowledge of French. Has confidence with exemplary interpersonal skills and high confidentiality. She is able to motivate and instill team spirit values in colleagues to achieve consistent performance and delivery of organizational/ institutional goals. She is very visionary, honest, self motivated, committed, influential, patriotic, dependable, integral and experienced individual who has contributed to positive changes in various institutions. 

Dr. Ayuya by partnering with Schools Farms Africa in Guernsey has played a huge role in transforming the lives of school going children in Laini Saba of Kibera slum in Nairobi as part of community service by attracting grants for construction of an administration block, classrooms, toilets, Counseling centre and drilling of a borehole.

Dr. Ayuya is a member of various professional organizations including Kenya Professional Association of Trainers (PTAK) and Kenya Counseling and Psychological Association (KCPA).
