Biography

I am a Missiologist, lecturer and facilitator with over 20 years of work experience including exemplary teaching at university level, training in non-formal education, facilitation, leadership and management experience at institutions locally and internationally.

  • I have effectively taught a range of theological and leadership courses, residential and online, in multicultural contexts at different educational levels (within the university) in Africa and Asia.
  • I have trained and mentored faculty from 5 African countries for teaching in a Masters’ program in Organizational Leadership and Development on online course delivery and adult learning methodologies thereby significantly increasing the organization’s pool of faculty currently teaching within 18 university educational partnerships worldwide.
  • I provided strategic leadership for a Master’s Leadership program covering East Africa attaining high graduation rates and reported leadership impact for graduates.
  • I am a Co-author in development of teaching material with our resource been currently used in the research methods course in a Masters’ Program in Leadership in 18 universities.
  • I have provided expert assessment for book-writing projects to assess their contribution towards critical scholarly engagement and new insight in the discipline of Missiology and served as an External Examiner for Doctoral candidates in the Department of Spirituality, Church History and Missiology at the University of South Africa.
  • I have been involved as a curriculum developer and reviewer for an international Christian NGO’s training resource for a model for dealing with poverty and development, a model that is now being implemented in 30 countries.
  • I am one of the 350 contributors for the Africa Study Bible, and a trained facilitator for the effective use of this unique resource that reflects uniquely African insights and experiences, helping Africans, and others who minister in Africa, to understand the Bible more effectively.  
  • I am a member of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE) Academy and the International Association of Facilitators (IAF)
