Senior lecturer and researcher in journalism. Courses include News Reporting and Writing, Feature and Magazine Writing, Editing, Research Methods. 

Biography

I am a media educator, communication consultant, and former journalism practitioner whose professional experience includes co-authoring a book on the history of a Kenyan sports institution, teaching adult and young learners, as well as consultancies in digital technology use, editing and writing. My research interests include the use of digital technologies in journalism, media history and pedagogy. I am a member of the Kenya Editors’ Guild, and Kenya ICT Action Network, as well as a 2015 iHub Research Fellow. In 2019, I was a Summer Institute participant in The Programme of Comparative Media Law and Policy at the University of Oxford
