Biography

  • I am an Advocate of High Court of Kenya having been called to the Bar on 3rd April 2008. I am also a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. I practice law as a private practitioner in both subordinate courts and superior courts in Kenya
  • I taught law related units at Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), Machakos for 8 Years (2009-2018).
  • Currently I am a member of Law Society of Kenya and Kenya Institute of Management.
  • I have served as the 2nd Chairman of LSK South Eastern Branch in 2018-2022.

Academic Qualifications

  • LLB(Hons), 2005, Moi University
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Law, 2007, Kenya School of Law.
  • LLM, 2019, University of Nairobi. Title for LLM Theses: The Place of Treaties Ratified, But not Domesticated Before the Promulgation of the Constitution: An Appraisal of Article 2(6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

Research Interests

I have interest in the following areas:

  1. Constitutional Law with bias on how citizens should realize their rights which are enumerated in the Constitution.
  2. Public International Law; The implementation within the municipal structure.
  3. Education Sector: Proper implementation of the laws touching on the education sector.
