Biography

I am Christian, Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in active practice, and a Legal Scholar. My area of expertise is Private Law which to put it simply consists of Family and Child Law, Succession Law, Land Law as well as Business Law. I started teaching at university level in 2005 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester and have since taught in many other universities both local and international. 

I am also a corporate governance expert. In that light, I was awarded the Institute of Certified Secretaries (Kenya) Researcher of the Year 2019 Award. I have served on various Boards including but not limited to serving as a Member and later as Chairperson of the Editorial Board of the Law Society of Kenya.

I teach Legal Systems & Methods, Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Business Law, Company Law, Family Law, Insolvency Law, Research Methodology, Conveyancing Law & Practice, Commercial Law (Sale of Goods, Agency & Hire Purchase) and the Law of Succession.
