Dear Daystar  Community,  the Daystar ihub is inviting you to The Grand Innovation Pitch which is scheduled for Thursday, October 19th, from 1 to 5 pm EAT. Leading up to this event, from the 16th to the 18th , there will be pitch sessions, exhibitions, and displays of innovations.

Our Main theme : Innovation Festival Daystar Edition:

LEVERAGING INNOVATIONS TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA

Participants will be Pitching their innovative PRODUCTS that tackle one or more critical social issues in Africa today. Each team will be choosing from one of the following topics:

  1. Theme
  2.  Subthemes

Even with the main theme serving as the focal point : leveraging Innovations to support sustainable development in Africa.
 
Best Innovation Award:

About five to ten percent (5-10%) of Innovations will be selected as Daystar iHub 2023 winners. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 18th of October 2023

Selection criteria

The finalists will be selected according to the following criteria:

  • Originality of the idea
  • Feasibility of the business idea
  • Socio-economic impact and overall sustainability of the project
  • Stage of product development
  • Degree of innovation and defensibility
  • Social relevance of the project


Conclusion

The 1st Edition of the Daystar Innovation week is set to feature impactful innovators ,exhibitors, venture capitalists, various leaders ,corporates, local community members etc...

Exodus 35:35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers —all of them skilled workers and designers.
