Daystar University to Host The Ancient Manuscript Workshop, May 17-18, 2024

First Cohort of Mission and Theology
On 29th April 2024, Daystar University School of Mission and Theology received its first cohort of students for a one-year of intensive training. The 19 participants are drawn from diverse professions including Education Civil Engineering, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, and Small Business Owners. The program is domiciled at the main campus Athi River, where the students, mostly international, reside.
Cyberpro Academy inaugurated at Daystar University
In a historical collaboration between Daystar University's School of Science, Engineering, and Health, and CyberPro Global Limited, a Cyber Academy was inaugurated at the University’s BCC building. The event marked a significant stride towards training and fortifying Kenya's cybersecurity defenses. Representing the Israeli Ambassador to Kenya Mr. Michael Lotem, was Mr. Barak Granot, who is in charge of Israeli Economic and Trade Mission to Kenya.

Daystar University has planted another 10, 000 trees at Main Campus Athi River. The tree planting exercise which took place on April 11, 2024, was led by the State Department for Forestry, and Kenya Forest services, Machakos County.

On 12th March 2024, Daystar University and Yatima Outreach Organization signed a 3-year working agreement at the Nairobi Campus Council Room. Representing Daystar University was the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro and the DVC Finance, Administration and Planning, Prof. Muturi Wachira, and the Dean School of Applied Human Sciences, Dr. Kennedy Ongaro. Yatima Organization was represented by the County Director Mr. Tom Wambulwa and Vice Chairperson Yatima Board, Ms. Chelagat Nases.
